Our Amazing Staff

Miss. Megan

Megan has served as the Director of The Preschool and Kindergarten since it started in 2013.  She was asked if she was interested in helping to start a preschool and never looked back! Megan is passionate about matters of child development and equipping children and families for future success. Early childhood education is important to a child’s love of learning and getting to be a part of that is so rewarding.

Megan and her husband Brad live in Snohomish and have 3 daughters.

Miss. Chris

As the Lead Preschool and Pre-K teacher at Monroe, Christine brings many years of experience working with little ones. While her children were growing up, Christine ran an in-home day care and preschool for seven years. She also spent five years working as a preschool and lunch room monitor in Wisconsin. After joining The Church at Maltby/Monroe, Christine has become a lead preschool teacher on Sundays mornings.

Christine and her husband enjoy spending time with their two adult daughters, son-in-laws, and grandson.

Mrs. Brown

As the Monroe Campus Kindergarten teacher she is so excited to share her passion to help children develop a love for learning!

Mrs. Brown grew up in Eastern Washington in the Spokane Valley. She attended WSU to study early childhood education and family and consumer science. When she first moved to the Westside, she worked for Little Nickle, met her future husband, got married, and had her first baby. Mrs. Brown loved being a mom and was truly feeling her calling to get back to teaching so she started subbing and teaching preschool in Monroe! She has been blessed to have the ability to raise her kids and teach in our community for over 15 years.

She lives in Monroe, WA with her husband of 18 years and their two kids.

Miss. Dusty

As the Assistant Preschool and Pre-K teacher at Monroe, Dusty is so excited to be a part of the teaching team! Dusty studied early childhood education in college and has over 10 years experience teaching in a 3-5 year old classroom. Dusty loves working with children and believes they can teach us as much as we teach them.
