Our Amazing Staff

Do you love working with little kids? Are you looking for an awesome, part time teaching position with an established staff? If you (or someone you know) are looking for a part time teaching position, we might be the place for you! The Preschool at Maltby is looking to hire two teachers for our preschool classes for our Maltby campus for the 2024-2025 school year and beyond (pre-k/preschool teacher).

 

Applicants must:

- Have teaching experience

- Be willing/comfortable teaching in a private, Christian school

- Love little kids

- Be willing to work in the Maltby area

- Be available for part time work,  roughly 20-25 hours a week

- Pay is dependent on experience

- Start mid-August and work through June

Miss. Megan

Megan has served as the Director of The Preschool and Kindergarten since it started in 2013.  She was asked if she was interested in helping to start a preschool and never looked back! Megan is passionate about matters of child development and equipping children and families for future success. Early childhood education is important to a child’s love of learning and getting to be a part of that is so rewarding. 

Megan and her husband Brad live in Snohomish and have 3 daughters.

Miss. Chris

As the Lead Preschool and Pre-K teacher at Monroe, Christine brings many years of experience working with little ones. While her children were growing up, Christine ran an in-home day care and preschool for seven years. She also spent five years working as a preschool and lunch room monitor in Wisconsin. After joining The Church at Maltby/Monroe, Christine has become a lead preschool teacher on Sundays mornings.

Christine and her husband enjoy spending time with their two adult daughters, son-in-laws, and grandson.

Mrs. Brown

As the Monroe Campus Kindergarten teacher she is so excited to share her passion to help children develop a love for learning! 

 Mrs. Brown grew up in Eastern Washington in the Spokane Valley. She attended WSU to study early childhood education and family and consumer science. When she first moved to the Westside, she worked for Little Nickle, met her future husband, got married, and had her first baby. Mrs. Brown loved being a mom and was truly feeling her calling to get back to teaching so she started subbing and teaching preschool in Monroe! She has been blessed to have the ability to raise her kids and teach in our community for over 15 years.

 She lives in Monroe, WA with her husband of 18 years and their two kids.

Miss. Gloria

As the Lead Preschool and Pre-K teacher at the Maltby Campus. Miss. Gloria is so excited to be teaching this year! She has been a substitute teacher, and an assistant teacher, at The Preschool at Maltby and Monroe for many years before deciding to jump into being the Lead Teacher. Miss. Gloria is married to her sweet husband, Darrick, who owns a local heating company and is just an amazing guy. Together they have 4 kids; Kelsey, Davis, Kasen and Genessa. She is very excited to be teaching alongside her oldest, Kelsey, this year.

They live outside of Snohomish and have a small hobby farm. As a family they have attended, and served, at The Church at Maltby and Monroe for 16 years.

Miss. Dusty

As the Assistant Preschool and Pre-K teacher at Monroe, Dusty is so excited to be a part of the teaching team! Dusty studied early childhood education in college and has over 10 years experience teaching in a 3-5 year old classroom. Dusty loves working with children and believes they can teach us as much as we teach them.

Miss. Kelsey

As the Assistant Preschool and Pre-K teacher at Maltby Kelsey has a passion for children. Kelsey graduated from Northwest University with a ministry degree in Intercultural Studies and has recently begun her position at the church as the Kid's Life Associate. She has a passion for children's ministry and raising up the next generation of believers to be strong through scriptural teaching and application.

Philp is the assistant teacher alongside her mother Gloria at the Preschool and Pre-K at Maltby. She lives with her family in Snohomish. She is the oldest alongside two brothers and a sister. On her family’s hobby farm she has three dogs, Molly, Mila, and Meadow, whom she adores, as well as six cats, a handful of chickens, and a pig.
